Great food, great service! I'll definitely go back. My grandkids loved the kid's meal.

We visit K sushi once a month or so. Service is friendly and helpful with answering questions. The sushi is quite good but my favorite menu item is the ramen. Ask for it spicy if you like heat! Pair it with a bottle of sake for a fantastic meal.If you prefer quiet go during the week between 3p - 5p. If you like a more active environment they definitely pick up for dinner service around 7p.( best compliment I can give: I'd have more photos but we are too busy stuffing our faces to stop for camera time)

Best Sushi restaurant in Tucson! And yes, I agree it’s an understatement. I don’t think I’ve had one thing I did not like. Recommend to try the Seis Avenida Roll, Bear Down Roll & the Tootsie Roll. However, you can never go wrong with the classics either. Bento boxes, House Rice and pretty much all noodle dishes are to die for. Their Ramen is also on another level, again, probably the best in town. This place has it all, delicious food AND amazing service. Not once has either disappointed. We love eating here, because of the food and the people. Thank you for always being so kind! 👏💛

This quickly has become my favorite Japanese restaurant in town! The sushi is amazing, I highly reccomend the eel. And I am obsessed with the ramen yaki noodles. YUM!The staff is very nice and helpful, check it out.

The crunchy spicy tuna was really good and waitress was really nice to me. I bring my own water bottle inside the restaurant and she ask me if i want her to throw it away. Even though i didn't ask her to do it.

The ramen was delicious. The mackerel was some of the best I have ever had. The only real complaint I have is the service was slow as they only had 1 waitress on a Saturday at 7pm. All in all I was super impressed with the food and will be going back as often as I can.

Great sushi, fair prices. One of my favorites in town

My boyfriend and I came here because I wanted to try ramen (our first time trying any). We aren’t from the area and there were surprisingly quite a few places to choose from. We were a bit skeptical at first as we walked into an empty restaurant (I think we were just early) but I’m really glad we stayed. We each got a pretty large bowl of ramen (mine was Miso I believe and I can’t remember what he got) I had chicken and I believe he had pork. Either way we were both very pleased with our first ramen experience. It was very delicious and I would definitely return here if I’m in the area again! The only disappointment was that we had ordered a piece of cheesecake for dessert and it didn’t taste great. Like it had freezer burn or something possibly but at least everything else was great.

Service is always great. The California rolls are a bit on the dry side, they need more avacado and more crab meat and less cucumber. The lunch bento with gyoza and teriyaki chicken was great though. I would visit again and try something different.

Surprisingly good. A little hard to find because in the back of the strip mall. The Sweet Shrimp looked a little creepy to me but tastes great

I had udon and it was okay. Not really fond of the octopus balls, but perhaps that was just me?

I never leave reviews. Like ever. We’ve been here a number of times. I worked at a very high end sushi restaurant for a few years in college. This is, by far, the best sushi in this part of town. Tonight, our waitress recommended the bear down roll and I was blown away. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed.

The sushi here is excellent, so tasty and fresh! Far and away the best Philly Roll I've had in this city thus far. Yes, it's easily better than Yoshimatsu's sushi offerings right down the street. This is definitely a spot that my girlfriend and I will be returning to just for the sushi. But that's not where it ends, the ramen here is great too! The only thing that may effect your experience with the broth is the inclusion of sweet corn. While I do enjoy it, if you don't eat it right away it will change the flavor of the broth, making it a bit sweet. The pork in the ramen is excellent, and easily my favorite part of the dish aside from the perfectly cooked egg. The ramen here would without a doubt be in the running for Tucson's best. (Also thank you for serving with extra wasabi! I love it, and most places don't give enough)I really wish more people knew about this restaurant, so I'm doing my best to spread the word. If you're on the fence about trying it, don't be!

Really great and kind service. One of the only places that offers a bento box during dinner. Their sushi is always fresh and their ramen is also very good. Definitely the best sushi in Tucson. The place is typically not packed and very quiet and relaxing.

Stop going to "all you can eat" places now. Each one is fooling you in different ways. Find a quality place to go, such as this one. Quality and overall experience is more important than quantity. I've never had anything I didn't like at K. The vast majority of reviews are positive, there's a reason for that.

Yummy food

I am originally from a coastal state where there's no doubt the fish is fresh and what I have to say about this place is that good damn it's deliciousEdit: 10 months later I still come here avg 1x/week. And the margaritas are good

It's an understatement to say this is probably one of the best sushi restaurants in Tucson. Having been to Japan, I can say this is the closest you're going to get to authentic Japanese sushi/dishes here in Tucson. Being in a desert, it's hard to find fresh fish but I always find that this place has great quality fish and the staff is always super nice. It feels great as a customer to be recognized and welcomed every time you visit. Although it can be easy to miss because it is located behind Old Chicago, I would say this place is a hidden gem!

Okay, I am not sure if I am a fan of Japanese food

I have been visiting this place for over a year. Their food's quiality is consistent and the owner is always courteous. This restaurant sits in the northeast corner of Campbell plaza and it's close to UA campus.Their food have a really good portion also the price is more than fair. What I love the most is their curry katsudon. This is definitely the very best Japanese style curry you can find in Tucson. Another thing that worth mentioned is their bento. You can enjoy various flavors with a really good price.They also have a good variety of rolls. We've tried "Monkey Balls", and it tastes delicious. Sometims they could be a bit slow, so try to call ahead if you can.

I love this place! The salmon is my favorite in town. The salmon aburi is a must order. I’ve never seen it anywhere else. Soft shell crab roll is yummy too! Be sure to ask for fresh wasabi. I also like their uni and during the winter they have bomb oysters.

This place has the best Ramen (listed under noodle soup on their menu) in Arizona. The sushi is amazing and one of the best. Everytime we go we are treated like family. The waitress is very kind and always remembers how we like our food. My wife is quite picky but I beleive it was this place that awakened her love of ramen. Every time we go we feel amazing and well fed afterwards. Thanks everyone at K-Sushi! Expect us back next month!

Really good sushi but it's not quite worth the prices

A bit pricey . food was unsatisfying. Service was not the best, could have done better. On top of that my wife got food poisoning.. I was very disappointed. Never going back that's for sure!

Best sushi in town, family owned with excellent service.

For the life of me, I can not figure out why this place is not super busy. We have been there twice now and both times it was dead. Perhaps it's just the time of day we were there. The food both times was amazing. I don't know enough about Japanese food to know what to order,

The ramen was very delicious, we got the char sui and pork tonkatsu. Tempura ice cream was made very well as well. Definitely a place that deserves to be patronized!

K Japanese is a laid back comfortable atmosphere to enjoy some straight forward Japanese food. The staff is always friendly and the portions are great for the price. I have had ramen here as my main meal several times. The tonkatsu broth isn't the richest most flavorful, but it is good and they serve it up with lots of noodles (which I love!). Their ramen is served Sapporo style. The sushi is also good. Worth a visit.

BEST Japanese restaurant in tucson!!! The customer service is excellent. The food is phenomenal. Everything is wonderful from their sushi to their ramen I always leave full and happy! This is one of those restaurants that even when you’re so full you keep eating because it’s so good. Every time friends or family come to visit we make sure to bring them here!

The food here is delicious, particularly the salmon, which is my favorite. The fish is fresh and tastes great. The service is fantastic, it brings me back every time. It’s a quiet restaurant, which is perfect for us.

Pros : good service , good serving size My pork was so perfectly crunchy. The nigiri was a good proportion of fish and rice. Cons :The cucumber that was decoration unfortunately was a little Browning. Miso wasnt the most amazing, but was still pretty good. Too me it was a little sour?

I love sushi. Moving here from the east coast I found that the sushi in Tucson just wasn't as good as back home. This place, however, has the best sushi I've ever had... anywhere. Everything we had was very fresh, and perfectly put together. The tuna tataki was delicious, and the caterpillar roll was served warm which was a very delightful surprise. They are VERY generous with their avocado... actually they are pretty generous with everything. I've been a bunch of places that use more rice than anything else in their rolls, that is definitely not the case here! This place is a hidden gem and I'm very disappointed that I just discovered it after living here for 5 years... that's 5 years being wasted on not-so-amazing sushi. I will have to eat here at least twice a week to make up for lost time! So happy I took a chance on this place!

Been here several times. There's never a wait to be seated. Consistently good food. Expect a long meal, food can sometimes take a whole to come out, but it's always high quality.

I love Japanese food and I've gone to a lot of the places in town. K makes awesome food and I think they have the best ginger salad dressing of any Japanese place around here. I have tried the chicken Katsu, chefs choice Nigiri, ramen, tempura, and gyoza dishes and they are all amazing. Their miso is great and the I think the gyoza is better than any other place in town. The service is quick and friendly, I'm consistently impressed every time I visit K.

Let me put it this way. The aroma Alone, is worth checking out. Beautiful food and staff, would absolutely recommend for date night or family lunch!!!
